Heartwood Pine Floors

When we started reclaiming the timbers from century old warehouses and textile mills people thought we were a little odd.

They wanted to know why we would go to the trouble to gingerly deconstruct some old mill, carefully ship it back to our manufacturing facility, and design acres of specialized equipment to process this cast off wood.

Then they saw our wood and asked what we did to make it look that way. And we would tell them how we kiln dried and sawed the wood. Still they wanted to know how we got that golden amber color, and we explained that what they were seeing was Heartpine, one of the rarest woods available.

And they would say, "Oh".
